There have been constant rumblings about this issue in the past, and even law changes in Israel (see further down this blog), but this stance by a clutch of Vogue editors is a true line in the sand. No more unhealthy eating practises (where visible) will be tolerated and no thin models. They are even shining a torch on the designers and want them to stop creating super-small sample size garments.
You wouldn’t expect Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel to do anything by half, but the scale of this show is just huge and I love the theme and set design too.
I take it models smiling isn’t ‘in’ this year then!
Looks like I will be getting published again next Sunday. Keep an eye out for Scotland on Sunday’s magazine Spectrum with a truly beautiful fashion shoot we shot just before Xmas.
I love seeing my photos in print, so much better than looking at them on the computer!

Here’s a couple of shots from a recent test with two models from Colours Agency.
It’s nice to be back in the studio working towards a great look and that perfect shot. It’s always great fun trying out different lighting scenarios and working with models to try to capture something special.
